Do You Dream of Earning a Living selling your art and designs?
You can… Here’s how…
Do You Dream of…
- Earning an income making art, creating products, and designing things?
- Having your art and design respected and admired by friends and family?
-
Feeling good because you have customers and fans who love and buy your art and designs?
- Get those orders and commissions so know you have more income coming in throughout the year?
-
Feeling the joy in making and creating, knowing that your art and design is going to sell?
- Building a business that brings in enough income so you can leave your 9-5 job?
- Having a crew of makers, designers, and creatives understand it and get you?
Art helps me relax. When I create I get this a feeling of peace. Like all my troubles and care just fade away. It’s quiet. I lose track of time.
Do you feel like this too?
This state of peace and contentment is know as “Flow”.
Flow is sort of like meditation. It’s good for you. It can help reduce anxiety and stress.
And know what its like to not have the time or energy to create. (Two kids… ;O)
I get what it feels like when you have all these ideas, but you don’t have the time of the energy to do them… it makes you feel frustrated, and irritable and even mad!
Art and design is part of you. It’s what you do. And you dream of being able to make a living doing what you love.
I get it, because I do, too.
We All need a guide sometimes…
We all need a guide sometimes…
The other day I was hiking with my sons. We saw a tree that had two rectangles painted on it.
One ask, “What are those?”.
The other replied. “Those are trail blazes. They show you where the trail is. They show you where to turn and which way to go.”
Hiking, and trail blazes, are a lot like trying to make money with your art and design.
Being a professional artist or designer can feel like hiking on an unknown and unmarked path.
- What if you take a wrong turn?
- What If you loss the trail?
- What if you get lost?
It can be confusing. And a bit scary.
Do you ever feel like this?
- Like you just wish there was a sign to show you you’re on the right path?
- Do you wish there was path to success?
- Do you wish you had someone to show you the way?

About…
I not only learned that day she was someone who could be counted on, but that she was also a digital photography teacher and a freelance web designer. I had been trying to get a website built for more than five years with no luck, and realized right then she was the perfect person to connect me to the 21st century! This proved to be no easy task, since I had 20 years worth of images from my National Geographic assignments, and another five year’s worth of digital images from personal art projects.
Her passion for photography and art is immense, and she possesses an unlimited supply of energy, enthusiasm and talent. In this time of almost daily technological advances, she shows no fear of jumping in and catching on, quickly mastering new software, hardware and equipment.
Who is Erin Sparler? Well, why don’t you go take a look for yourself; if you can’t find her teaching a variety of disciplines in the classroom, she’s probably out shooting her latest photo project. If you don’t track her down there, she’s probably back in the lab Photoshopping, printing, matting and framing. If you don’t catch her there, she’s probably out in her backyard, working on her newest sculpture. And, if she’s nowhere to be found then? Well, I imagine she’s hiking up the side of a nearby mountain, gathering a backpack full of sticks and stones and other natural objects to incorporate into one of her many future art projects!
Erin is truly an amazing person, and one to keep an eye on, if you can!
Do you dream of selling your art and design? Do you want to earn a living doing what you love every day?
Maybe you are a painter, a designer, or illustrator. Maybe you are a mixed media artist,
a jewelry designer, woodworker or paper crafter…
Regardless of what you make, if you are creative and want to learn how to make money
with your work then…
Meet Erin Sparler…
Hi, I’m Erin. And I’m the host of the podcast The Artist APPEALS. I’m also the inventor, designer and owner of EyeConnect Crafts which makes and sells movable and nature inspired crafts.
When I left my full time position as a college professor 8 years ago, I had no plans to to start a business, or podcast. Let alone build an online course! But, I also had no idea how much these was to know and learn about the business of art and design.
Now, EyeConnectCrafts.com has been featured in multiple craft magazines and carried by craft stores, nature centers, and science centers in the US and Canada. The crafts are available, both retail and wholesale to stores and teachers, online at EyeConnectCrafts.com
I wanted to learn how other artists and designers were doing it. So I started the podcast. The Artist APPEALS. The Artist APPEALS podcast interviews successful artists, crafters, photographers, designers, and event leading industry experts.
In Season 1, I had the pleasure of talking to leading industry experts including the editor-in-chief of Where Women Create, Jo Packham and the Vice President of Product Development at Spellbinders, Denzil Quick!
I got to chat with artist Carla Sonheim, author of The Art of Silliness: A Creativity Book for Everyone as well as Beckah Krahula international best-selling author of the Zentangle series!
And in Season 2, you can listen along as guests like Flora Bowley, author of Brave Intuitive Painting and mega successful artist Jane Davenport share how they got to where they are, the tips and tricks they use to present and promote their work, and how they utilize social media!
.. …This is the class for you.
If you want to create a body of work…
If you want to develop your signature artistic voice…
If you want to learn how to price your art and design…
If you have a body of work, but you want to sell more artwork and make your work stand out from the crowd...
If you already have a business, and want to make more money, but you don’t want to spend every moment blogging into a black hole, responding to endless emails or wasting countless hours on social media…
If you are feeling overwhelmed trying to be the artist, the graphic designer, the web designer, the accountant, the marketer, the sales-person, the shipper and 100 other roles, this is the class for you.
In this new innovative course, The Artist APPEALS uses a 7-step system to organize and teach you everything you need to make, price, present, sell and license your artwork or designs.
Ms. Sparler’s presentation was clear and concise. She made no assumptions about what her students knew. When I was in her classes several months later, I was the beneficiary of that sound pedagogical approach. She was particularly helpful in the class on web site design, for which all of the students except me had had prerequisites. Ms. Sparler’s basic emphasis was on effective communication through design.
Student’s efforts in this realm constituted the bulk of their assessment. But she also administered exams and required papers, thus acknowledging the value of cognitive activities. When I returned to my teaching duties, I modeled my Elective Art units in Illustrator and Photoshop directly from the experiences in Prof. Sparler’s classes.

To get a four-year degree in the arts it would cost between $10,000- $40,000! Many of these programs don’t cover how to price, copyright or even sell or license your artwork. And it would take you 2 – 4 years!
What if you could learn how to build a business in the arts in just 2 – 4 months instead of 2 – 4 YEARS?! The Artist APPEALS, 7 Step System is priced at less than a quarter of what it would cost you to take just one college course.
The total value for all of this material and bonuses is $1,020!

Your Questions Answered…
If you’re thinking “why only $397 … there must be a catch?” Then here are three reasons that should put your mind at rest:
1. The cost makes the material more affordable and available to everyone, from beginning artists to more experienced creatives. I want to share this information with everyone.
2. It filters out the freebie-seekers. We only want serious artists and creatives who take action in their business. By charging a dollar amount, this makes sure they are serious about their art!
3. I’m a hopeless optimist. 🙂 Artists tend to create because it makes them feel good. It gives them peace and happiness. Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone could do – for a living – something that makes them feel good or brings them peace and happiness!?
I believe that once you get into The Artist APPEALS coursework and start implementing the tips, tricks and techniques into your art, business and life – and see how much of a massive impact it can have – you will love the content so much that you’ll want to stick around.
